Capabilities

Global Technical Systems (GTS) provides innovative, cost-effective, high-tech engineering products and product-based services. We encompass the latest generation software and hardware solutions in engineering services for defense, homeland security, and other critical government interests.

Products and services span a spectrum that includes: mission-critical combat systems processors; Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems; military combat systems hardware production; radar and sensor systems; avionics test sets; threat detection; biometric identification systems; composite materials for advanced munitions, armor, and energy; and depot repair and logistics.

Central to GTS product philosophy. is use of modular, open-architecture design and leverage of COTS technologies wherever possible. Our extensive support services include shipboard and shore-based technical support, installation, maintenance, training for both hardware and software systems. GTS maintains a complete depot-level repair and manufacturing facility in Virginia Beach with warehousing and full logistics support, including an integrated obsolescence management program.

Our performance has directly benefited major Government customers including: NAVSEA's Aegis Modernization (Baseline 9), Ship Self-Defense System (SSDS), Guns Weapons System (GWS), Maritime Integrated Air and Missile Defense Processing System (MIPS), Missile Defense Agency /Aegis Ashore, and Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program.

Robust management, engineering and production capabilities have earned us the trust of a customer set that includes Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), Missile Defense Agency (MDA), US Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Department of Homeland Security (DHS S&T), US Coast Guard (USCG), Office of Naval Research (ONR), Naval Research Laboratory (NRL), Defense Microelectronics Electronics Activity (DMEA),  and the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).
