Craig
Black serves as the Vice President of Operations with Global Technical Systems
(GTS) and is responsible for the strategic and long-range planning, tracking
and analyzing business development in shaping and influencing the future of GTS.
Craig works to plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee operations activities,
ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and
cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization.
With
over 30+ years in the Federal Contracting arena, Craig is a skilled
professional at Systems Engineering, Customer Service, Program Management, as a
Director, in Business Development, and as Vice President of Operations.
He is responsible for the oversight of multiple contracts with combined ceilings
in excess of $3.8 billion.
Craig
is proud of his 24 years of service with GTS and the major efforts he has led
to include the Common Processing System (CPS), Networking, Processing and
Storage System (NPS), Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services
(CANES), Battle Force Tactical Trainer (BFTT), and Ultra Light Aircraft
Detection (ULAD), and, to name a few.
Craig
is honored to have served for 9 years in the U. S. Navy aboard the USS Virginia
(CGN-38), at NAS Pensacola, Florida and PRECOM Unit USS Vella Gulf
(CG-72).
While
serving in the Navy, Craig is really proud to have served as a Volunteer Fire
Department Captain. Through this volunteerism, he also enjoyed promoting
the Toys for Tots campaign. Craig is based in Virginia Beach, VA at the GTS
headquarters.
