Dawn Chapman

Human Resources Director

 

Dawn Chapman joined Global Technical Systems in June 2020 as the Human Resources Director.  She has more than 37 years of administration and management experience in the Federal Contracting arena.  Dawn spent the prior 28 years working for federal IT contactor, PROSOFT, in a variety of administrative and management roles, including Chief Human Resources Officer.  

 

Dawn is dedicated to creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and a sense of employee empowerment in her employee relations practice.  Customer service to the employees is her focus and priority.  She serves as the Chief Editor of the company newsletter. 

 

Dawn was a student of Dr. W. Edwards Deming's TQM Methodology in the 1990s and has managed ISO 9001 certification and Quality Management System (QMS) programs.  She managed Corrective & Preventive Action programs, developing metrics to measure quality of products and QMS.

 

Dawn serves on various outreach committees and is proud of her commitment and volunteer work to the community. 

Dawn holds a B. S. in Professional Communications from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia and is a Society for Human Resources Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
