Kevin McTigue

Chief Growth Officer


As the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) for Global Technical Systems, Kevin’s responsibilities include directing strategic growth of the company, expanding portfolio offerings, devising and refining business strategies, developing effective business capture teams, managing business development pursuits, and leading extensive Congressional and Executive interactions. During more than twelve years with GTS, Kevin has supported incredible annual revenue growth of more than one thousand percent.

Kevin has held multiple executive leadership positions over a 25-year career in the defense and aerospace industry including with:  Raytheon, Virtual Technology Corporation, Renewable Energy Solutions, Delex Systems, and Capital Helicopters.

He has leveraged his background in leadership, business development, management, and his expertise in military weapons and tactics to support effective customer engagement and delivery of advanced capabilities to our warfighters. He is the author of multiple published technical papers related to integration of technologies in the military and has supported the rollout of numerous US and allied operational capabilities.

Kevin’s twenty-two-year military career included serving as a USNR Unit Commanding Officer, and extensive experience as a rotary-wing special operations pilot. Mission Commander qualifications included: Search and Rescue (SAR), Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW), Surface Warfare (SUW), Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR), and Special Operations Forces Rotary-wing Support (SOF). Kevin has supported numerous Joint and Allied operational and training engagements in both a tactical and executive capacity. During more than 18 years as a military and civilian pilot, he was qualified in 17 aircraft models including fixed-wing and helicopters, and amassed nearly 6,000 hours of military and commercial flight time. Additional military training included executive leadership and Total Quality Management. Kevin is the recipient of numerous military citations and awards and retired from the active Navy Reserve in 2005.

Kevin is a member of the following organizations: US Technology Leadership Council; Border Security Technology Consortium Executive Committee; Maryland Clean Energy Advisory Board (former executive board member); and the Naval Helicopter Association.

Kevin graduated from the University of Maryland with a bachelor of arts degree and holds an active DoD clearance.
