Tony Rauch
serves as the Director of Manufacturing for Global Technical Systems (GTS). He
is responsible for the day-to-day operations in Production, Testing, Inventory,
and Shipping/Receiving. Tony works with the Program Management Team,
Procurement Department, and Engineering Staff to ensure customer requirements
are properly integrated into the manufacturing process.
Tony has over
30 years of experience encompassing avionics maintenance & troubleshooting,
assembly, production planning, and management. With 25 years in the
manufacturing business, Tony has managed multiple programs for the Department
of Defense (DoD), and other large companies. Tony is well versed in prototype
and build to print manufacturing. He is considered a SME when it comes to Material
Resource Planning (MRP) and Bill of Material (BOM) development. Tony is also a
certified LEAN green belt from Arizona State University and is always looking
to improve and streamline manufacturing processes.
Tony has been
with Global Technical Systems for over 10 years. Some of the major efforts Tony
has helped direct are the Common Processing System (CPS), Networking, Processing
and Storage System (NPS), Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services
(CANES), Battle Force Tactical Trainer (BFTT), Ultra-Light Aircraft Detection
(ULAD), and Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS).
Tony is proud
to have served for 7 years in the U. S. Navy as an “I level” technician at NAS
Oceana, NAS Norfolk, and aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71).
In the
community Tony has served as a tutor, mentor, and youth leader. During his
downtime Tony enjoys DIY projects and hanging out with family and friends.
Although originally from the DC area, Tony is a HUGE Dallas Cowboys fan.
