GTS Awarded $116.4 Million IDIQ Contract for Common Processing System (CPS) Sustainment

Global Technical Systems (GTS), Virginia Beach, Virginia, is being awarded an $116,436,973 Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF)/Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for Common Processing System (CPS) Sustainment. This requirement will provide for engineering, logistics, installation, and limited equipment production services including any ORDALT Kits, spare parts and materials required to provide Life-Cycle support for CPS equipment. This requirement will also provide for products and services anticipated to build, test and install the CPS TI-12H ORDALT Kits. The Contractor shall manufacture, test, and deliver the ORDALT Kits for the United States Navy (USN) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs and other programs as required, in accordance with the applicable Technical Data Package (TDP) and associated GFI provided under this contract. The Common Processing System (CPS) consists of the CPS Enclosure Assembly including power, cooling and hotel services and three subsystems: The Processing Subsystem, the Storage/Extraction Subsystem, and the input/output (I/O) Subsystem. The Processing Subsystem provides the computing resources to execute Navy combat system application programs on Navy platforms. The Storage/Extraction Subsystem provides the mass storage resources required for Operating System (OS) image storage, program storage, data extraction, and database management. The I/O Subsystem provides the resources required to interface the processing and storage hardware to various external elements. Through its ability to host multiple types of software applications, the CPS provides the processing resources for multiple Combat/Weapons systems. The CPS production equipment was designed, developed and delivered by GTS under NAVSEA Production Contract Numbers N00024-09-D-5212 and N00024-14-D-5213. Initial Navy contract funds in the amount of $5,200,010 will be obligated at time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD), is the contracting activity (N63394-19-C-0008).
